Kolbe Catholic College is a Catholic secondary college situated in Greenvale Lakes, Victoria, Australia.[1]

Kolbe Catholic College was named after St Maximilian Kolbe, who died in Auschwitz concentration camp on 14 August 1941. Its student numbers will reach up to 1060 for Years 7 to 12. In 2009 Yr 7 and 8 students have newly constructed blocks specially constructed for their requirements.

There are 6 house groups, each with a House Leader and 2 House Captains. The Houses are: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Orange, Yellow

A house naming process has commenced.

Kolbe's curriculam include English & Humanities (Communication in Y7), Science, LOTE, Journey, Mathematics, HPE, Music & Drama (Performing Arts in Y7), Visual Arts, Food Technology (8,9), Visual Design (9) and Multimedia (9). Learning inhanced activities include IMP (8) and LEAD (9).

Kolbe has multiple extra curricular activities such as Debating and Social Justice. Each Year level participates in a Sport day once-twice in a timetable. They each has the opportunity to participate in Premier League during a selected term with selected sports. Kolbe has extensive facilities, such as HP and MacBook laptop trolleys containing ~11 laptops each that are all connected to a Wireless Network. Selected classrooms have a Desktop computer, and there is a computer lab containing 24 PC computers. Every teacher is equipped with the latest MacBook computer for class planning and roll marking.

The college is currently constructing a Gymnasium building and a State-of-the-Art Science Building. It is estimated that 212 students will enrol for Year 7 2011.
